1945 wedding – Constance Taylor & John Whiting

Wedding of Constance Mabel Taylor (known as Connie) and John Henry Whiting (known as Jack) on 6th October 1945 at the Church of St John the Baptist, Wickhamford.  The Vicar was Reverend A Turner of Aston Somerville and the reception was held at The Sandys Arms.

Connie (1920-2003) was the daughter of Frederick & Mary Taylor of 13 Pitchers Hill, Wickhamford.  Jack (1918-2004) was the son of John & Blanche Whiting of 55 Whiteway Road, Bristol.  They remained living at Wickhamford for the rest of their lives.  Twenty-six years after their own wedding, Connie & Jack’s daughter, Hazel, also married at Wickhamford.
