a vision of our Lord Jesus Christ
seen by another parishioner, Samuel
Gresty, on Ascension Day, 1954.
The picture was given to Saint James's
Church, Badsey, by Samuel Gresty in
Thanksgiving to Almighty God.
Year 1792.
A collection made in the Parish of Badsey to buy an
Instrument called the Bassoon with Books and reeds, That is to say
say for the use of ye Choir of Singers belonging to Badsey Church, And at
Wickhamford Church if it's Agreable to the same Choir Service while,
And at no other place without leave of ye Minister and Churchwardens
Of the Aforesaid Parish of Badsey, So long as ye sd Bassoon shall last.

Here, like a true and faithful Pastor he
began his labours, and here he Ended.
Knowledge and Learning, Religion and
Virtue were the distinguishing Ornaments of
his Life, and they happily closed the last
Scene of it with the fairest Pledges of
Honor and Immortality.
