A GARDEN PARTY
Will be held at THE FARM. WICKHAMFORD (given by Mrs. Carter) in aid of the Wesleyan Church Building Fund, on WEDNESDAY NEXT, JUNE 16, commencing at Three o’clock.
The Programme will include CONCERTS (afternoon and evening) at which Mrs. G.P. Osler, Mr. Hartley Smith and several other well-known Artists have kindly consented to assist. The following Sports and Competitions:- Ladies TUG-OF-WAR, SACK FIGHTING, STILTS & BLINDFOLD RACE, OBSTACLE and WHISTLING RACE, BICYCLE SKILL RACE (Ladies and Gentlemen), TRAIN CATCHING RACE, SACK RACE (entrance fee, 3d. each). Tea will be provided. Conveyances will leave Avon Bank for Wickhamford, the first leaving at 2.45 (Single fare 3d.) Tickets (including tea) 1s.; Children half price.
