ACTION AGAINST A RAILWAY COMPANY

At the County Court on Friday an action was brought by Mr Joseph Jones, market gardener, Badsey, against the Great Western Railway Company, claiming £7 10s for delay in delivering pears consigned from Birmingham and damages for loss of market.  Judgment was given for £1 11s 6d, including £1 paid into court.
