Saturday 22 January 1938 – Death of John Henry Keen

The funeral of Mr John Henry Keen of Ivy House, Badsey, took place on Friday afternoon.  Mr Keen, who was the eldest son of Mr R Keen and the late Mrs Keen, was well-known and highly respected in the district.  A short service and the interment was conducted by the Vicar (Rev W C Allsebrook).  The family mourners were Mr & Mrs Arthur Keen (brother and sister-in-law), Mr & Mrs J Bailey (brother-in-law and sister), Mrs G Collett (sister), Mr & Mrs Eric Jelfs (brother-in-law and sister) and Mr R Pithard (cousin).  The bearers were Messrs J Hartwell, G Knight, H Keen, We Keen, A Ankers and W Ballard.
