OBITUARY - The death occurred on Friday at Tamworth, Staffs, of Mrs Rose Ellen Cockerton of No 1 Synehurst, Badsey, at the age of 63. She was a native of Badsey and is survived by her husband, Mr B S Cockerton, and one daughter. The funeral took place at St James’ Church, Badsey, on Wednesday, the service being conducted by the Vicar, Rev W B Chapman. Mrs G Marshall officiated at the organ. Family mourners were Mr B S Cockerton (husband), Mrs E Shooter (daughter), Mr A Shooter (son-in-law), Mrs J Pethard (sister), Mr W Hardiman (brother), Mrs W Hardiman (sister-in-law), Mrs W Ballard (sister), Mr W Ballard, Mr V Cockerton (brothers-in-law), Mr R Hardiman (nephew), Mrs T Owen, Mrs D Bonehill, Mrs P Sandford (nieces), Mrs W Sparrow (aunt), Mrs T Keen (cousin). Many floral tributes were received. The bearers were Messrs L Mustoe, F Dore, T Keen, C Collett.
