The wedding took place on Monday at the Parish Church, the Vicar (Canon W C Allsebrook, RD) officiating, of William Ernest, only son of the late Mr & Mrs William Emms of Birmingham, and Edith Amelia, daughter of the late Mr & Mrs C Wilkinson of Dudley.  The bride was beautifully attired in a costume of blue crepe suede with picture hat to match and had as bridesmaid Miss E Webb of Dudley, her niece.  Miss Webb wore a floral frock with picture hat to match.  Mr William Summers of Leamington, a cousin of the bridegroom, was best man.  There was a large attendance of villagers at the church, in addition to the family guests.  At a reception at the happy couple’s future home, Canon Allsebrook toasted the bride and bridegroom.  The honeymoon is being spent in the Isle of Man and their future home will be at Chapel Street, Badsey.
