Blackminster’s Man’s Appointment

His many friends will learn with pleasure of the recent appointment of Mr Frank Tutton, eldest son of Mr & Mrs C H Tutton of St Cadoc, Blackminster, as Chief Audit Clerk of the Midlands Electricity Board, Coventry sub-area.  Mr Tutton will take up his new post on October 11.  He was educated at Barry County School and Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Evesham.  On leaving the latter school, he was employed in the Clerk’s Department of Evesham Rural District Council, but 17 months later he obtained an appointment in the Treasurer’s Department of Southwark Borough Council.  For over six years he served in HM Forces, four of which he was a prisoner of war in Germany.  Our best wishes and those of our readers will go with Mr Tutton to his new post.
