Irene Jelfs who died in Evesham Hospital had been ill for some months and had spent many weeks in Ronkswood Hospital. Originally from the north, she had settled in Badsey after her marriage, and lived with her husband and family in Synehurst. She was an active member of the Women’s Section of the Royal British Legion, and will be missed by the local branch and by her friends in the village. We send our deep sympathy to Mr Jelfs and the family.
