James Knight conducted three baptisms, six burials and nine marriages between 1813 and 1818 whilst Curate of Bengeworth.
Knight is a very common name in the Vale of Evesham so it is difficult to establish when and where he was born. The only facts we know for certain about James Knight was that he was appointed as Curate of Bretforton and also of Bengeworth on 14th March 1812. On 17th January 1818 he became Stipendiary Curate at Aston Somerville.
