Warwickshire - Sutton Coldfield: Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity is the parish church of Sutton Coldfield.  It was here that Mela Brown Constable worshipped 1917-1918 when working as a Unit Administrator at Southern Command Depot based in Sutton Park.  She lived close by in Somerfield Hostel, Manor Hill.

In a souvenir postcard sent on 17th January 1918, there was a photo of Holy Trinity on which Mela wrote:  “Where we go to Church.”

The Rector at the time was Reverend Charles William Barnard.
