1908c – Photo of Vicar and group of men working in St James’ churchyard

Description

The photo was possibly taken in about 1908 with Reverend Allsebrook, mother-in-law, and men working in the churchyard.  Someone has identified some of the names:

Men standing back row, left to right:  Joseph Agg, Richard Pendlebury, possibly Augustine Dore, Reverend William Carmont Allsebrook, Alfred Sparrow, -, John Keen, -, possibly Henry Keen, possibly John Barnard.

The Vicar’s mother-in-law, Mrs Kate Hands, who lived at The Vicarage, is seated on the front row.  The names of the two boys beside her are unknown.
