1890s – Leaflet containing inscription on the tombstone of Penelope Washington in Wickhamford Church

The leaflet contains on one side, “Inscription on the tombstone lying on the north side of the altar, in the Parish Church of Wickhamford, near Evesham, in the County of Worcester, England.”  This is in the original Latin.  On the other side is the English translation.  This was probably produced in the 1890s when there was much interest in America about the Washington family in England and their links with George Washington.
