Captured Turkish Gun 1917

A Turkish gun was captured on the march to Baghdad in March 1917.  The caption on one of the photos says (in Cyril Sladden’s own handwriting):  “Mountain gun captured by cavalry on march from Zeur to Bustan, March 5th 1917.”

The photos were probably all taken by Cyril’s colleague, Lieutenant Norman Ainsworth.
