WEDDINGS IN EVESHAM AND DISTRICT – A Badsey Bride

Two well-known Badsey and Offenham families were united on Tuesday when the wedding took place of Miss Constance Lilian May Perkins, only daughter of Mr & Mrs T Perkins of 15 Synehurst, Badsey, and Mr Ronald Percy Rouse, eldest son of Mr & Mrs P Rouse of Blackminster.  The Vicar (Canon Allsebrook, RD) officiated.

DISTRICT NEWS – BADSEY ORGANIST’S WEDDING, Mr L Sharp and Miss Q Sheppard

The wedding took place at Badsey Parish Church on Thursday afternoon of Miss Queenie Sheppard, the only daughter of the late Mr W T Sheppard and of Mrs Sheppard of Brighton (formerly of Evesham and Mr Leslie P Sharp, the only son of Mr & Mrs Charles Sharp of Kenrick, Cheltenham Road, Evesham.

The marriage was solemnised by the Vicar (Canon Allsebrook) at St James’ Church on Tuesday of Miss Ellen Lucy Mustoe, eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs E E Mustoe of The Royal Oak, and Mr Albert Edmund Harwood, eldest son of Mr & Mrs W Harwood of Brewers Lane.

Much interest locally was taken in the marriage on Wednesday morning of Miss Ruth Knight, second daughter of Mr and the late Mrs J E Knight of Fairview and Mr Wilfred Jelfs, second son of Mr Alfred Jelfs of 11 Ivy Lane, Bretforton.

The marriage took place at St James’ Church on Saturday of Miss Kathleen Geden, eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs A W Geden of 37 Synehurst and Mr Reginald Knight, second son of Mrs and the late Mr Edwin Knight of Antwerp, Middle Littleton.  The ceremony was solemnised by the Rev A H Lewis (Vicar of Bengeworth).

The marriage was solemnised at Badsey Parish Church on Saturday by the Vicar (Canon W C Allsebrook) of Miss Leanora (Lena) Tucker, only daughter of Mr & Mrs T Tucker of Knowle, Bristol, and Mr Clifford Phillips, only son of Mr F Wade Phillips, a member of Hampton Parish Council for nearly 20 years, and Mrs Phillips of The Parks, Aldington.

The wedding took place on Saturday, the Rev Harcourt Fowler officiating, of Miss Thelma Margaret Fisher, daughter of Mr and the late Mrs H Fisher of Abbotts Salford, and Mr Raymond Francis Cole, eldest son of Mr and the late Mrs Allen Cole of Offenham.
