At Sea, HM Troopship

Dear Uncle Julius

I posted a letter to you a few days ago expecting to be near to the first calling place. We are still a couple of days from land but plodding along with smooth seas and warm weather. The sea air is proving a good tonic to us all. It is very pleasant and restful.
