I got a bullet into my left arm about 4.45 am on the 9th, which broke my humerus, without any nasty complications. The wound seems to be healing excellently, and gives quite little trouble. I was soon rushed down river and came out hospital here last night and have had good attention all along. Expect I shall go to Bombay soon.
Best love
Cyril
