I am not writing this week as there is so little to say. The weather has been very cold, freezing hard every night for a week. Otherwise things are just as before. I have no recent letters owing to the stupidity of somebody who is holding up all mails till Christmas when we are told we shall get three. This is in order that the mail announced at home as the Xmas mail shall not be delivered early. As nobody wants anything but to get mails as quickly as possible, and preferably one at a time in the right order, we are all very annoyed with such a perfectly stupid arrangement.
