My dearest Husband,
Essie will be very pleased to keep us another day, & for you to come & fetch us, so we shall expect you by the 2.37 train tomorrow. I think some friends of Mrs Burrows’ are coming by that train to go over the factory, & I said I should like to go too, so we shall meet you & then you could either go with us or do anything else you liked while we went over. I am so glad you can manage to come for me, I hope the dear chicks won’t be very much disappointed at me coming a day later, kiss them all a good kiss for Mamma, I must try & find some little thing to take home to them. I have managed to break my watch I hope it is not the spring, I took it to Simms’ but he was ill, so I couldn’t see him.
It is nearly dinner-time, so with fond love
