My Darling Wife,

I am very busy with my brewing but must not fail to drop you a line or two as I know you will expect a letter.

I am getting along all right and feel glad to have some work on hand, if we were only living here I should be well contented for when evening comes I do so want my little wife.

I saw your cask of beer at the Junction so hope it has been delivered to-day

With fondest love
Believe me
Ever your loving husband

Julius Sladden

Will write again to-morrow.
