Mary STYLES (1874-1942)

Biographical Details

Mary Styles (1874-1942) was the spinster daughter of Mary Anna Robinson’s friend, Ann Styles, in Richmond; Mary Anna was the sister of Eugénie Sladden.

Mary Styles was born at Wells, Somerset, on 11th March 1874, the eldest daughter of Robert Henry Poole Styles and his wife, Ann Eliza (née Livett).

Mary did not marry and still lived at home at 29 Mount Ararat Road, Richmond, in 1911.  Her father died in 1912.

At the time of the 1939 register, Mary was living at 40 Gloucester Road, Twickenham, with Edwin and Agnes Rayner.  Mary later moved in with her widowed mother at 50 Hampton Road, Teddington.  Mary died at The Memorial Hospital, Teddington, on 12th November 1942, ten months after her mother.
