Ada Styles, née Beale (c1834-1915), was the sister-in-law of Mrs Ann Styles who was the friend of Mary Anna Robinson in Richmond; Mary Anna was the sister of Eugénie Sladden.

Ada Beale was born about 1834 at Upton-upon-Severn, Worcestershire, the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Beale.

She married John Birchmore Styles, a chartered accountant on 21st September 1872 at All Saints Church, Paddington.  They had no children.  They moved to Richmond after their marriage.

Ada’s husband died on 1st May 1910.  By March 1914, Ada herself was in poor health.  A letter of 23rd January 1914 revealed that she had two nurses and a niece was keeping house for her.  Ada lived at 52 The Vineyard, Richmond, where she died on 7th March 1915.  Polly Robinson’s nephew, Walter Mourilyan, was the solicitor who dealt with probate of the will.
