Georgina Millicent Williams (1890-1986), known as Millicent, was the sister of Mary Christabel Sladden (née Williams) who had married Arthur Sladden in April 1914.

Milliecent was born on 7th December 1890 at Dowlais Rectory, Glamorganshire, the fourth of nine children of the Reverend Llewelyn Morgan Williams and his wife, Georgina (née Rowlands).  She was baptized in the church at Dowlais on 19th January 1891.

At the time of the 1911 census, Millicent and her mother and young brother, Elmer, were staying at The Mount, Newport, whilst her father and sisters were at Dowlais Rectory.

In August 1914, on the outbreak of war, the Sladden family were holidaying at Craig y Mor, Newport, and met up on a number of occasions with members of the Williams family.  Millicent is mentioned in two of the letters written during this period.

Millicent did not marry.  She died in 1986 in the Pontypool district.
