John Stanley MESSENGER (1917-2013)

John Stanley Messenger (1917-2013) was the son of Lily Messenger (née Wood) who was a “kind of sister” to the Sladden family.

John Messenger was born in the Bristol area on 9th February 1917, the eldest of three children of Henry Leslie Messenger, and his wife, Lily (née Wood).
