Peter BRADFORD (1914-?)

Biographical Details

Peter Bradford (1914-?) was the elder son of Daisy Bradford (née Idiens), who had grown up in Evesham and Wickhamford and knew the Sladden family well.  He is mistakenly referred as a girl to in a letter from Mela Brown Constable of 24th July 1917.  Mela said that Daisy had two children, a boy and a girl, but in fact she had two sons.

Peter was born in British Columbia, Canada, in 1914, the elder son of Alice Marguerite Bradford (née Idiens), known as Daisy, and her husband, Edmund Ewart Bradford.

At the time of the 1921 Canadian census, he was living with his parents and brother at Metchosin.  It is thought that Peter remained living in British Columbia for the rest of his life.
