Frances Hester Robinson (1826-1902), was the sister-in-law of Mary Anna (Polly) Robinson (née Mourilyan, who was the sister of Eugénie Sladden.

Frances was born in Paris, France, on 14th March 1826, the second of four children and only daughter of Henry Robinson, a merchant, and his wife, Jane (née Westbrook).  She was baptized in Paris on 10th April 1826.

Frances never married.  Nothing is known of Frances’ whereabouts at the time of the 1841, 1851 and 1861 census but, in 1871, she lived with her aunt, Frances Robinson (1802-1884) and her unmarried brother, Henry William Robinson (1825-1876), a merchant and landowner, at 9 Chesham Street, St George Hanover Square, Westminster.  Frances was still living with her aunt at 9 Chesham Street in 1881.  Her aunt died in December 1884 and Frances was executor of her will.

In 1891, Frances lived at 4 Lichfield Gardens, Richmond, with three servants; Mary K Kirton was visiting.  By 1901, she lived at 32 Sheen Road, Richmond, with three servants and a hospital nurse; Mary Kirton was again visiting, and Mary Pickering.

Frances died at Sheen Road, Richmond, on 26th February 1902, aged 75.
