No 43 Peak Hill, Sydenham, located off Sydenham Park Road and quite close to St Bartholomew’s Church, was home to Jack, Kathleen and George Sladden from about June 1908 to March 1910.

Sydenham is a district of south-east London, shared between the London boroughs of Lewisham, Bromley and Southwark.  Prior to the creation of the County of London in 1889, Sydenham was located in Kent.
