My dear Kathleen

I will just scribble you a line, but it is very late so excuse brevity, I wish you all success next week, I hope you will have at least as jolly a week as I had, then you will not have cause to dread it very much.  I expect you will enjoy being in London with Miss Smith, Miss White is sure to come up too sometimes I suppose.  I should love to be able to see you all at Draper’s Hall doing just as we all did two years ago.

It is just 2 years today since our first exams.  Don’t bother to write to me next Sunday have a good rest that day.  I shall like a letter the Sunday after telling all about the week.

I wrote to Emily last Sunday, I daresay I shall hear from her before long, if she can’t come I shall be extremely angry with her & possibly every body else too!  I suppose Ruth’s exam is next week.  I think I will enclose a note to her.

We were very glad to get Mother & Baby back, I am so glad Baby was able to be taken to see you.  She looks very bonny & has grown I think since she went away.

I must stop & write to Ruth, with much love & best wishes for nice papers & everything propitious from your loving sister

May E Sladden
