St James’ Church, Badsey, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday when Miss Helen Myra Hartwell, only daughter of Mr & Mrs Elgar Hartwell of Hollywood Villa, Badsey, was married to Mr Albert Oliver Stanton, eldest son of Mr & Mrs F Stanton of 93 Kings Road, Evesham.
The bride comes from a well known Badsey family and is extremely popular in the village. Educated at Badsey Council School, she has for the last 6½ years been a member of the staff of the BBC at Wood Norton and Birmingham.
