Text of Letter

Cecil goes to the front tomorrow. He was chosen with 160 other men from the 2nd Battalion to make up the numbers of the 1st Battalion London Scottish.

He went to Watford yesterday to join the 1st Battalion. Bar saw him off at the station and says all those she saw were exceptionally fine big men.

I am to go and see Matron on Saturday.

Hope you still keep well.

Love from M
