I was so pleased to have a long letter from you last night. I will reply to it tomorrow, having just written to Bar and Cecil I have no time to write tonight. Your enclosure gave me much pleasure – it was very nice of you to send it. I do not feel so tired today. I will try and do as you suggest and not look too far ahead, just do my work from day to day. I had some “tuck” from home today and a lovely bunch of violets – most lovely scent. May thinks George is in France.
