My dear Juliet

Forgive me for not writing to you before to express my sympathy with you and your family in this great sorrow. The rush of the beginning of term has been very great. My thoughts have been often with you. It must be a great comfort to you to know that your Mother is at peace from all her illness and suffering and you will come to realise that she is still with you and beside you even though you have not the dear bodily presence there to assure you.

We shall be glad to see you on Monday.

Once more my deep sympathy.

Yours affectionately
Marjorie Fletcher
