George Edward LINTOTT (1870-1906)

George Edward Lintott (1870-1906) was the father of Rosina Beatrice (Rosie) Lintott who became engaged to George Sladden in November 1915.

George Lintott was born in 1870 at Hanworth, Middlesex, the second of eight children of Henry Lintott, a valet, and his wife, Sarah (née Hyde).  He was baptised at Hanworth on 18th September 1870.

George was described as a metal turner at the time of the 1891 census and a mechanical engineer at the time of the 1901 census.

In 1893, George married Fanny Ives at Hampstead.  They had three children:  Dorothy Alice (1896), Rosina Beatrice (1897-1930) and George Edward Sydney (1902).

George died at The Hyde, Wilberforce Road, Hendon, in March 1906, aged 35, and was buried at Hendon.
