Petrol filling station plea rejected
An appeal by Mr P G Osborne against the refusal by Evesham Rural District Council to permit a petrol filling station at Brook Meadow, Synehurst, Badsey, has been turned down by the Minister of Housing and Local Government.
Friday 19 December 1958 – Council to modernise houses at Synehurst, Badsey
Council to modernise 76 houses at Badsey – Provision of hot water systems planned
Good news for 76 Council house tenants in Synehurst, Badsey, emerged from Monday’s meeting of Evesham Rural District Council. Their houses are next on the list in the Council’s pre-war house-modernisation plan, and when they meet again next month councillors will have before them a scheme for providing the Synehurst tenants with hot water systems.

Mr C A Binyon presided over a meeting of Badsey Parish Council on Monday when the clerk, Mr D A Jelfs, reported that the Rural District Council had consented to renumber the houses at Synehurst, Synehurst Crescent and Synehurst Avenue.
Saturday 9 August 1947 – Complaints about state of footpath at Synehurst
BADSEY PARISH COUNCIL
A letter was received from the tenants at Synehurst complaining of the state of the footpath in the front of the houses between Badsey Pike and the Od Schools. The Clerk reported that the matter had already been brought to the notice of the highways authorities, but it was resolved that a further letter be sent to the Divisional Surveyor asking for repairs to be carried out as early as possible.
