My dear Eugénie,

The enclosed came this morning.  Kath was going to write to you for this post but Miss Philips turned up earlier than expected, some of us will write this evening.

Juliet has a feverish cold but is not “mimsy” at all we are trying to get rid of it quickly but unless practically gone before Friday I shall let her wait and go up with Kath next Tuesday.

All well at home.

In great haste
Your loving Husband

Julius Sladden
