My dear Eugénie
We were so very glad to hear this morning that you had had a reassuring telegram from Cyril from Malta, and I trust you will soon know that he is quite convalescent.
We hear from Archie that the Chaplain General wishes him to go to the front as an Army Chaplain; if arrangements can be made, he will probably go, Sylvia and the baby would then go to her mother during his absence.
Trusting you will continue to have good news.
Believe me.
Your affectionate brother
Fred
