The village of Badsey in the Vale of Evesham has been host to a flower show since 1888. Horticultural shows and flower shows were once a common feature of rural life, but sadly this is no longer the case. Badsey Flower Show is the exception and is one of the longest-surviving shows of its kind in the vicinity. It has survived gaps when no show could take place – whether because of war, floods, a pandemic – but still it continues to blossom. This comprehensive history has been written to celebrate the 120th show which took place on 29th July 2023.
The book is 112 pages long and fully illustrated, with a Foreword by Gordon Boon, Chairman of the Flower Show Committee.
