My Dearest Wife,

Your letter just received, I was so glad to hear about you.

I leave here about midday for Surbiton shall stop there to-night, I expect to hear from A Hutchinson there if he will be at home on Tuesday and if so may stop at Maidenhead and come on home on Wednesday.  Mother is rather better.  Frank & Edith will stand for Baby.  I must not write more or shall lose the early post.

Mother & Charlotte send love and with much from myself
