Frederick Dalgarno Robinson (1829-1901), known as Fred, was the brother-in-law of Eugénie Sladden (née Mourilyan).

Fred was born at Christchurch, Surrey, on 23rd December 1829, the youngest of four children of Henry Robinson, a merchant, and his wife, Jane (née Westbrook).  Fred was a solicitor.  On 15th December 1870 he married Mary Anna Mourilyan at St Alphege, Greenwich.  They settled in Richmond, Surrey, living at Marshgate House, Marshgate Road.  They had four children:  Mary (1871-1959), Henry Dalgarno (1873-1954), Anna Magdalene (1875-1942) and Fanny (1877-1956), and employed a cook, housemaid and nurse.

Fred was very involved in local politics and served as Mayor of Richmond in 1895-96.

He died at his home, Marshgate House, Richmond, on 3rd November 1901, aged 71.
